{"id":17799,"date":"2026-08-27T15:52:29","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T20:52:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pei.com.co\/?post_type=noticia-arrendatario&#038;p=17799"},"modified":"2026-09-08T09:12:54","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T14:12:54","slug":"inside-the-transformation-of-edificio-avianca","status":"publish","type":"noticia-arrendatario","link":"https:\/\/pei.com.co\/en\/tenant-news\/inside-the-transformation-of-edificio-avianca\/","title":{"rendered":"Inside the transformation of Edificio Avianca"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At <strong>Pei Asset Management<\/strong>, we continue to drive initiatives enabling us to operate our assets portfolio with greater efficiency and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of this commitment, we completed the installation of a new solar power plant at <em>Edificio Avianca<\/em> that will significantly reduce the building&#8217;s environmental impact, while generating long-term energy efficiencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The installation features <strong>340 solar panels<\/strong> expected to generate approximately <strong>294,500 kWh<\/strong> of clean energy per year \u2013roughly covering <strong>11% of the building\u2019s total yearly energy consumption<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new solar plant will prevent the emission of approximately 28 tons of CO\u2082 per year, an offset equivalent to the annual carbon capture of about <strong>470 trees<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond its environmental merits, the project delivers direct operational benefits.
