What exactly does Pei Asset Management do?
Pei Asset Management is an asset manager (specialising) in the comprehensive management of real estate investment vehicles. It has two main roles: first, structuring real estate investment vehicles, and second, launching, operating and managing the operation of the vehicles and assets under technical, profitability, sustainability and good corporate governance criteria.
What is the relationship between Pei Asset Management and Pei?
Pei Asset Management is the expert manager and administrator of Pei as a real estate investment vehicle, and of the assets in that portfolio.
Pei is a real estate investment alternative established as an autonomous estate with its own governance and regulatory structure, and which owns real estate assets such as office buildings, logistics parks and shopping centres, among others.
Does Pei Asset Management own the real estate assets?
No. Pei Asset Management does not own the assets. It acts as a professional real estate manager, managing the assets that are part of investment portfolios, such as Pei.
What role does Aval Fiduciaria play in Pei?
Since Pei is an autonomous estate, Aval Fiduciaria acts as spokesperson and management agent for the Pei autonomous estate, in accordance with the applicable regulations and Pei’s incorporation documents.
It is important to clarify that:
- Pei Asset Management is the business manager with experience in real estate and financial matters.
- Aval Fiduciaria performs fiduciary functions as the management agent.

Pei Asset Management is a private SAS company with a formal corporate governance structure consisting of the Shareholders’ Assembly and the Board of Directors, as well as several operational and business oversight committees.

What is Pei?
It is an investment alternative that allows you to participate in a diversified portfolio of income-generating commercial assets through Participation Units traded on the Colombian Stock Exchange and holding the highest rating awarded by Standard & Poor’s S&P Global.
What is Pei Asset Management’s role at Pei?
For 19 years, Pei Asset Management has been Pei’s Real Estate Manager, responsible for managing the vehicle’s asset portfolio, as well as assessing investment opportunities.
What does PEIS mean?
It is the abbreviation for Patrimonio Estrategias Inmobiliarias. These are the Participation Certificates of the Pei Portfolio, which are traded on the Colombian Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol Pei.

What is the minimum investment amount?

What is the process for investing in Pei?

Is there a minimum investment period?

How many investors does Pei have?
After 19 years of operation, Pei has successfully attracted more than 10,000 capital investors, including mandatory and voluntary pension funds, insurance companies, mutual funds, family offices, and over 8,000 individuals.
What is Pei’s return?
The return on Participatory Securities is variable because the investor participates in the business results at each point in time. As Pei is a long-term investment vehicle, the return varies depending on the holding period, achieving greater potential returns over longer investment periods. How often are returns distributed?
The resources generated by Pei’s operations are distributed in their entirety to investors on a quarterly basis on the tenth business day of February, May, August, and November.

What is the use of proceeds when selling an asset?
The funds generated from the sale of portfolio assets may be invested in assets in accordance with Pei’s investment policy, within a period of up to twelve (12) months. How many assets does Pei have? Where are they located?
Pei has more than 150 assets in 32 cities and municipalities in Colombia.
Who makes Pei’s material decisions?
Pei’s material decisions are made by the Advisory Committee, the vehicle’s highest governing body.
What types of assets does Pei invest in?
Pei invests in income-generating commercial assets with high potential for appreciation. The asset categories in which Pei invests are: corporate, retail, logistics and specialised-use.
How is PEI’s Advisory Committee composed?
The Advisory Committee has a mixed composition: independent members, the Legal Representative of the Investors, and members of the Real Estate Manager.

How often are investor meetings held?
The Ordinary Investors’ Meeting is held annually in accordance with the Issue and Placement Prospectus of the PEI Participatory Securities Programme, with information as of the close of the previous year.
