Today, following the announcement of a new partnership with 1.9%, the vehicle’s presence has been extended to 54.5%.
This latest transaction will allow Pei to consolidate its stake in the shopping center..

Bogotá, May 2021. Pei, the leading real estate investment vehicle in Colombia, managed by Pei Asset Management, announced the acquisition of an additional 1.9% of leasable area in the Nuestro Montería shopping center.

With an additional investment of COP$2,200MM in this transaction, Pei becomes the owner of 54.5% of the shopping center.

«With this additional investment, Pei aims to increase its ownership stake in this asset and solidify its position as a majority investor, which allows for making decisions with a long-term vision and further strengthening the commercial assets portfolio,» said Jairo Corrales, president of Pei Asset Management.

The transaction was completed through Pei’s acquisition of 2.482% shares in the Fideicomiso Lote Nuestro Montería fund, which represents 75%% of the total asset base, corresponding to 138 properties.

In addition to Pei, other investors in this asset include Jaguar Capital, InvGroup 18 (a subsidiary of Studio F Group), and Valores Mensula, among others.
