Bogotá, 2021. Pei, the leading real estate investment vehicle in Colombia, managed by Pei Asset Management, completed the acquisition of 67% of Edificio Buró 26, located in the city of Bogotá.
This was made possible by a previous acquisition agreement and its inclusion in the portfolio several years ago. The property currently has a long-term lease agreement (7 years).
The building has a total rentable floor area of 14,619 square meters.2of which, Pei acquired 67% of the stake, corresponding to 9,795 m2 with an investment of COP $87,250 million.
The Buró 26 building is the first of six towers that make up the C-26 Business Complex, located on El Dorado Avenue, a strategic area with high corporate influence, offering extensive transportation options and easy access to Bogotá’s El Dorado Airport.
Furthermore, it also holds a LEED Silver certification, awarded for its sustainable construction, which incorporates high-quality materials, advanced lighting systems, and sanitary fixtures.
As an added feature, the property is suitable for both commercial and corporate uses: it features a spacious entrance hall and five retail units on the ground floor.
It has 10 office floors and two basements for parking for users and visitors.
The completion of this acquisition process confirms the long-term management strategy and the administrator’s goal of generating value for Pei investors, the assets in which they invest, and society as a whole.
