Bogotá, June 2021. Pei, the leading real estate investment vehicle for Colombians, managed by Pei Asset Management, announced an additional 1.03% stake in Edificio C26, located in Bogotá.
This transaction was carried out for a value of COP$1,341,305,970. The additional percentage acquired is equivalent to 151 m2, bringing its total stake to 68.03%, equivalent to 9,946 m2.
This stake adds to the 67% previously acquired by Pei in Tower 1 of this corporate complex, where Asurion set up its main operations center under a long-term contract. In doing so, Pei supports the arrival in the country of this multinational tech-support company, which will generate more than 1,500 jobs.
This is the first of six towers that will be part of the C26 Business Complex, located on Avenida El Dorado, a strategic area of high importance for the corporate sector, with extensive transportation options, as well as access roads and proximity to Bogotá’s El Dorado Airport.
