Today, following the announcement of a new 1.9% stake, the vehicle’s presence expands to 54.5%
This latest transaction will help consolidate Pei’s stake in the shopping center.

Bogotá, May 2021. Pei, the leading real estate investment vehicle in Colombia, managed by Pei Asset Management, announced the acquisition of an additional 1.9% of leasable area in the Nuestro Montería shopping center.

With an additional investment of COP$2,200MM in this transaction, Pei becomes the owner of 54.5% of the entire shopping center.

“With this additional stake, Pei seeks to increase its ownership in this asset and establish itself as a majority investor, which allows for long-term decision-making and continues to strengthen the commercial asset portfolio,” said Jairo Corrales, president of Pei Asset Management.

The transaction was carried out through Pei’s acquisition of 2.482% of the Fideicomiso Lote Nuestro Montería trust, which comprises 75% of the asset’s total area, corresponding to 138 retail units.

In addition to Pei, other investors with a stake in this asset include Jaguar Capital, InvGroup 18 (a Grupo Studio F company), and Valores Mensula, among others.
